Migges preheats the machine. Luckily he had brought a strip of glass silk to insulate the hot parts in the direct operating area (white bandages). That saved a few blisters. The floor and the 'control station' are still in a makeshift state - let's see how long that lasts...
As a regular guest in Mildenberg, Jochen has practically the right to use his Horus. I always think the combination of his blue boiler design and the wood is very successful. Jochen's Horus is probably the boat with the most privately driven kilometers in Germany. If the weather is nice, he goes to the boathouse and onto the water. With the now very sophisticated machine technology and his oil burner, he has built himself a great one-handed steamer.
PS:
As a guest on a steamboat, you are always well received with a new Mettwurst, as steamboat travel always makes you hungry!

PS:

The steamer Nordstern is a regular guest in Mildenberg. A trip is always worthwhile. You can find more details about the Nordstern here on my website.
Unfortunately, the Nordstern has been waiting 'coldly' for a new boiler since 2017
The Nordstern (North Star) is slowing down - Emma has to work really hard to catch up with her. But we only have 6 bar on the boiler...
